		The Undertaker "The Undertaker" is a female character which I created. This character introduces herself and her work in a comic. It is some kind of crazy advertising brochure where dead people talk about their lifes and where you can see how they are buried. At the end of this comic there is an application form for readers that are interested in burying things through "The Undertaker". And this is exactly where my final exam of my studies is connected to. Goodbye in form of death/burying is the theme of my final theoretical and practical work. I named myself "The Undertaker" and invited real persons to give me things, thoughts....or whatever they wanted to so that I could bury it for them in an artistic way. Each person is anonymous in my work. I developed black and white ink-drawings which break through the paper and move on the wall, I created three-dimensional paper objects and also small boxes to bury the things that where given to me. Within many small details I refer to traditional and actual burying rituals of the German death culture. My aim is to inform the visitor about this theme and also try him to find a critical confrontation about how we/he himself does handle the loss of things, thoughts, the death of people in the western society.
